Climate, flora and fauna
TEMPERATURE & RAIN
Our land is a tropical cloud-forest, at around 2,400m.a.s.l., resulting into soft temperatures (normally between 10-28 degrees centigrade) and MUCH greenness, for there is an abundance of water from streams and rains.
The rainy season has soft temperatures, and is from December until March. The dry season is the rest of the year, with `dry´ meaning that it only rains about once a month.
The lowest temperatures we experience around June-July, when there could be nights with temperatures at about 0 degrees centigrade).
The highest temperatures logically would be experienced in December-January, but because of the rainy season, this is a season of many clouds…so the highest temperatures we DO have, are in October and November, when the atmosphere can reach until about 33C, for short periods during the day.

FAUNA
There are also many animals and insects around, like small Deers, small Monkeys, small Bears (they prefer living remotely from Humans, by the way), Mice, Frogs, Owls, Marters, harmless small Snakes, many types of Birds, and such a colourful variety of insects, of which many have not even been documented, yet!
Also maaaany Butterflies.
Mosquitos: there´s always some kind of Mosquito around, who would like to pinch us, but the density of population is very little: especially, compared to other forests which are so virgin, and so rich in biodiversity, as where we live.
There are many different ways to prevent being incomfortable with them, BUT you could also just choose to get completely used to them.
And believe us: that´s possible for ANYone.
