                                          All about Perú

Perú might be the most diverse/rich land in the World,
however not the most efficiently exploited.

Hereunder, we’ll try to give you an anthropological image,
as complete as we’re able to.

                                          Extension: 1.285.216 square km
                                          Departments: 24
Government 2011-2016: nationalistic (consequence of a revolutionary move from right to left!)
Economy: growing, while the rest of the World’s economy is shrinking.
Religion: mostly Catholic, plus some Evangelist, and small groups of many others. This, especially in the mountains, mixed with ancient belief-systems.

Climate: all existing micro-climates (about 100), minus 2!!!
The reason for this, is the geological division of the coast from the jungle, by the majestic Andes mountain-chain.

Population: about 28 millions, and growing
(= a consequence of People, having good hopes for the future), with about 9 millions, living in Lima.

Races: almost any possible combination (either pure) of Quechua, Aymara, Spanish and African blood-lines, apart from many races (Indian tribes) from the jungle.

Specialties: a huge, colourful, folkloric diversity (dances, music, clothes, gastronomy, handycrafts and pilgrimages), a huge biodiversity, resulting in almost maximum potential of resource-diversity.

Furthermore, a great diversity and quantity of subterranean recources, and a large variety of stunning landscapes.

Education: regular, and now quickly improving, mostly located in the cities.
Therefore, there’s a big People-movement from farmlands to cities.

Limits: education (most important), corruption, efficiency, jealousy, environmental policy.
Mind: tradition, family, survival, humor, hospitality.
Spirituality: the elder generation: high, very simple and practical.
The young generation (in the city) is much influenced by the West,
and therefore tend to become more materialistic.

It is widely known, that the Andes mountain-chain is the new spiritual capital of the World, for the coming 1,000 years.

                                          Conclusion
As we read above, all possible resources are present.
However, there are still a few limiting conditions, which need to be transformed, to become unstoppable.

The most important limiting aspect is the education, but knowing how education has been, some years before now, and  observing the improvements, from then till now, and what’s in the new government’s program, there is enough reason to say, that the time of becoming unstoppable will arrive soon!

                                           .
